![]() ![]() In spite of the inherent dangers surrounding the border wall, Gabreta is a surprisingly popular travel destination. Notably, the largest of these is a terminal south of Strazny, and is situated across the River Vltava that flows through both countries' lands. Watchtowers, razorwire fences and fortified tank traps stretch over almost twenty kilometres of the border wall.Ĭheckpoints are sparsely established at a few locations, most prominently near the villages of Haidmühle (in German territory) and Nova Pec (Czechoslovakian).
